The Monsal Trail is very popular, and has easy access from the old Bakewell train station, and leads past Hassop Station where bike hire is available for use on the trail, which leads to Monsal Viaduct, Litton Mill, and on towards Buxton.
Many other areas of interest in the Peak District are near to Bakewell, including Lathkill Dale, Eyam Plague Village, Castleton Caverns and Blue John stone, Monsal Dale, etc.
If you have brought your own bikes with you, we have a secure garage where bikes can be kept overnight, and some of the numerous cycling routes in and around Bakewell can be seen at the following link: http://www.peakdistrict.gov.uk/visiting/cycle/cycle-routes
